Check the gear watch the tide feel a new wind rustling
Will she blow or will she drop northerly or sou-east
Will we sail the Island Plantation or the Granville reach

Shackle spanner round my neck put on the old tennis shoes
The flannel shirt and floppy hat we’re not going out to lose
Rig the boat, hoist the sail launching at the staging
Mary River waiting there gentle push and we’re sailing.
